This was taken in a quaint little town called Harmony, CA (right above SLO). Although rundown, you can see the potential all around. How cool to say, "I am meeting friends in Harmony".... or "I got married in Harmony"?
ITS A PRETTY SPECIAL PLACE… I LOVE THE ART WORK MADE THERE THE WEDDING CHAPEL IS REALY COOL AS WELL ..THE TOWN WAS FOR SALE ONCE CAN YOU IMAGINE SAYING I JUST BOUGHT HARMONY HAHAHAHAH HAVA BEAUTIFUL DAY I LIVE IN TAHOE NOW…BYEBYE -GERHARD-
I know! I SO wanted to buy this place and fix it up for the artist to create and thrive at….. sort of like a Sundance on the West Coast. You can just feel the specialness of the town when you walk through it. I thought about getting a campaign going to “Save Harmony”…. thought we could sell “ownership in harmony”, tees and such to generate income to buy it. Then everyone could have a little “Peace of Harmony”. Hmmm? This is the fourth conversation this month I’ve had about this….I’m paying attention now. Thanks for bringing it up GERHARD. Peace and HARMONY, Shelly
I have actually been there. I am currently living in New Zealand but on visit to Cambria, CA we ate at the only restaurant in town. It was a good meal. I don’t know if it is open any more, but what a coincidence that you have this picture on your profile.
Hi Shelly~I remember you mentioning this at the Peaceful Warrior gathering last weekend.
I wanted to post to:
A) say I’ve driven past this sign several times throughout my life as a Californian & never once stopped by to satisfy my curiosity…alas, I’m now inspired. Thank You!
and
B) revive the Harmony vision by keeping up the vibes almost 5 months after your OP…
who knows, “if you blog it…it will come” :)

It would be a great place for zaadzsters to live, or at least have retreats in. A fluffy place.
