"Holla'" Ellen!

Anyone that knows me, knows that I LOVE Ellen Degeneres. She is one of my favorite people in the world.... a real good nut. To me, she is one of those people who is actively out there doing what we Zaadsters propose....Changing The World. Everytime she makes one person laugh or dance or brings light to one person's dream, the world is changed as a whole. To me she is someone truly being of service and finding a fun way to go about it. Add to that.... Zaadzsters and Ellen share two favorite things... laughing and dancing. I wish her great success in her endeavors and thus this is why I am sharing this with you.
Ellen is currently asking her viewers what website she should be reading. It is my belief that she would feel right at home here at Zaadz and I intend to get her to visit this place we call home. I have just sent her an invite to come check us out and invite you to do so should you feel called.

I have just sent her an email, recommending that she check us out and join here on Zaadz. Definitely a woman doing her part in the world filled with negative news. In my comments on the site, I told her a bit about how international and transformative we are. Shelly, I love this idea, and I am sure Ellen will too.
LOL. Ellen D. is one of my favorite comedians too! she's a natural! i love her voice and the way she carries herself. especially her Finding Nemo character, Dory. man, i could go on and on… but i will stop here… i'll just head over to her site and recommend that she reads, um, i don't know, i forgot.
P.S. i did it. i just pimped Zaadz on Ellen's website. i even included a link back to this thread. but i really didn't like them collecting “required” info like addresses and names and stuff, so i just gave them the contact info for the White House. so i think i blew it. i'm sooo evil!
I sent her one too! I think Ellen is hilarious, gentle, and a wonderful soul.

Interesting that she currently has a ”My Crazy Dreams” contest going on right now. Coincidence? Crazy…. Dreams(zaad). Are we not all on the SAME PAGE. OK… maybe I am reading too much into it. Too bad if so, I like dreaming….
Here's my crazy dream:
I envision a whole episode of Ellen…. audience filled with Zaadzsters of course…… devoted to making dreams come true. Imagine being able to give flight to some of these great projects here at Zaadz. I see Brian sitting next to Ellen and telling her what we are up to in the world. I see SixthSense bringing a group of at-risk kids to meet Kanye West to promote his Empower Music program. I see Kelly doing a Divination reading for Ellen(she'd get a kick out of that). I see Wil in pom-poms and a mini-skirt. (just threw that in purely for entertainment value!) :-)
Regardless, what this has taught me thus far is how much fun we can all have here together at Zaadz….. even if Ellen never visits…..even though we all know she will. (wink) Who wouldn't want to hang out here? It's just plain good-times.

I LOVE that vision. I had always seen that on an Oprah show…hmmm…maybe it was supposed be Ellen first! Cool.
That's right before the Time magazine cover with all of us (imagine a WALL of people extending all the way you can see…) on it, of course. :)

I can't say I watch Ellen regularly, but when I do, I am amazed by her JOY.

Because of recent “growth opportunities” the media has been interested in a story that has me in it. Ellen is one of the shows who has my stuff so I might be ON IT!!! Not that much excites me under my oppression BUT I see the opportunity NOW… Brian - bring me on out - I am pretty good with spreading the word…

what i like about ellen is that she speaks Truth, and disguises it as humor, so that she can reach more people. she discusses very controversial topics, and poetic, deep thoughts.. presented in a light-hearted, non-threatening, universally relatable manner. go zaadz, bring that soul here! her presence would be beneficial for all parties involved, especially if she is seeking an online community. :)

Shelly, you probably know this, since you're such a big fan of Ellen's, but one of her areas of activism is animal rights, which I know is at the heart of your life. Ellen is one of those people who is using her celebrity status to affect positive change in the world. She rocks!

I just sent Ellen my two cents worth (Canadian).
In fact, I have started a two hour radio show called The Good News Show on our little community radio station in Killaloe, Ontario, Canada. Nothing but good news and good music for the listeners, and I invite the audience to phone in with their good news!

Done and done. Since my pod also deals with issues relating to Native Americans, it would be good to get national coverage. Even if only to raise awareness of the ruin of sacred sites throughout the country. http://www.sacredland.org/sacred_lands.html
Watch the clip at that site. The attitude of some people. There is one man who says, they lost the war, too bad. In the meantime, Leonard Peltier sits in Leavenworth, a political prisoner while the US continues to oppress the Native Americans while pointing the finger and accusing Saddam of doing the same. They forget that when you point, you have three fingers pointing back at you.

I started this thing just as a simple thought to introduce Ellen to Zaadz and it has blossomed into a beautiful display of love and co-creation. This is a living example of what is possible when we all come together for a good cause. Let's do it more often!
Thank you for all the support. This has been a WHOLE load of fun for me and I am so grateful to meet so many new(to me) Zaadzsters whom I had yet to discover. Each day I am more amazed at the diversity and Divinity of amazing souls we have here at Zaadz. This is truly LOVE in action.

Obi…She generally announces it on her show by live calling or inviting the person who made the recommendation. Thus one of our peeps will get a call or email in advance I would assume. Or in ~C's case, the President will get a call. Bad C4Chaos!
She'll probably spoof on us…because she is….well….a comedian. But who cares if she thinks us all addicted to Purple Koolaide….. she can add Vodka to hers. (there's one for the die-hard Ellen fans). hehe
I Tivo Ellen and watch her every morning while on the treadmill. (a great incentive to exercise and an even better way to start the day!) Will keep an eye on how this contest is unfolding and keep you posted.

Ack! This happened while I was away on vacation and I totally missed it until now. However, since the form is still up on the site, it must *not* be too late… so I did it too….
It is never too late. And….she is just beginning to unfold this current campaign on her shows the last couple days. It seems they always ask in advance so their writers have time to create from the submissions. I trust that if it is in the best of all involved, it will happen naturally and easily. Ellen is an amazing woman and Zaadz is an amazing group. The two are naturally a fit.
