You Know You're A Zaadzster If:
1. The dandelion is your new favorite flower
2. You find yourself adding “z” to the end of most words
3. You recognize coolmel as a fellow uber-blogger and not some sort of jello dessert
4. Your favorite mascot is a little yellow seed with limbs
5. A Zaady message in your inbox is WAY more important than clients or deadlines
6. You’ve learned to live on three less hours of sleep a night
7. Being called “fluffy” is a compliment
8. "Oh My Zaad", Zaadess, and bodhizaadvaz are actual vocabulary
9. You’ve traded reading books for blogs
10. Your friends, family, coworkers, hairdresser, grocer, gas-station attendant and dentist couldn’t care less if they never heard another word about some dang Dutch seed.
11. Logging onto http://www.zaadz.com/ is the first thing you do each morning
12. Logging off of http://www.zaadz.com/ is the last thing you do each night
13. The word “Tribe” has a whole new meaning
14. It feels perfectly natural to say “Namaste” after every sentence
15. You actually BELIEVE you can change the world!
(to be continued)

Help

I LOVE IT!!!
haha! wow! i love this list! i agree with them 100%. but i can also be ”a sort of jello dessert.” :)
Wow this is so great. It’s not just me staying up till 2am reading blogs?! That’s awesome. I’m not alone.
Hilarious, Shelly!!
Coolmel, you’re delicious!
Can’t wait to read the next ones!
Namaste
Great post! Love it!! :-)
Does the whole notion of transcendence and non-attachment that many of us seek contradict the very notion of being addicted to Zaadz?
Screw it! Consider me addicted!
Don’t forget “zaadztastic”!
Addicted? Heck, I’m mainlined! :-)
c’mon peeps, zaaddicted calls for Zaadzaholics Anonymous pod.
hi, don’t call me coolmel. i’m a zaadzaholic.
anyone out there who can make a Z.A. 12-Step Program?
Interestingly, one of the definitions of “addiction” is “devotion.” It’s wonderful to have you devoted to this site!
well… as long as we walk the middle path and not turn into a bunch of zaadiztics, life is cool.
Does laughing out loud multiple times a day….. when you are all alone…. constitute zaadomania? I think my cats are plotting to have me committed.
zaadomania?! ooohhh, that’s too close a word to…. oooh… ok. me shut up now before i get in trouble.
Shame on you ! Bad coolmel! Go back to work before you get dooced.
“non-attachment”
lol, well I spend a good deal of time around here. But I can leave at any time I like, without a second glance.I just choose! not to. :)
Shelly, you are TOO funny!
You ever have one of those moments where someone says something and you say inside, “Hey, that’s totally me?” You nailed it on the head, Shelly. From #1 to #15, I’m there! I can hardly wait to see what #16 through #30 reveal. ;-)
I am grateful to you all for helping me reconnect to my “silly side” again. Years of corporate, competing in the male world shut it down I guess…. but it feels good to be back!
This piece just “came to me” this morning when I was brushing my teeth. I’m glad it made you giggle.
If fits of spontaneous laughter by yourself is “cool”, consider me Miles Davis!
If staying up until 2am for the last four days and the first thing I do in the morning is log on to see who emailed me, has a new blog up or has commented on mine, and who is new to the site constitutes zaadznatacism, I’m a zaadznatic.
Actualy I’m more like a munchkin member of the lollipop guild from Wizard of Zaadz.
{{singing}}
Were going to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Zaadz.
hehe
It’s obvious to me that everyone here already has BIG Hearts, Brains and Courage……and now a home….. at Zaadz. :-)
we want to see people with BIG BALLS too! metaphorically speaking of course. it’s just my way of rephrasing Trungpa’s non-idiot compassion.
so there, bring out those BIG COMPASSIONATE BALLS !
ok. me back to work before i get dooced.
Coolmel, I love soccer. How’d you guess?! :P
“Were going to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Zaadz.”
THAT so totally trumps my play with “zaadz”…. YOU ROCK! That song is now going to be stuck in my head… tooooo funny!
I think this qualifies as a zaadz party.
“Toto, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore”.
Don’t blame me……Raymond started it.
Welcome ALL to the first official BYOZ party! {{noisemakers, confetti, cheers}}
Good Zaad! This is Brilliant, just Brilliant!
I’ll be coming back to Shelly’Z BlogZ Every Zingle DayZ!
ThankZ Shelly!
I love this. Your list on Zaadzsterism isn’t an exzaadzgeration.
I’m happy to know I’m not the only one…
Namazte!
Good ones Jodi! hehe
Bwaahahahahahah…snork….har…ahem
(Bowing down) All hail the Queen of ZaadieLand!!!
;o)
CalmEagle
Wow……so thankful…..for this good laugh……and relief (that I am not the only one that does some of those things)!
Heidi
You clever, witty girl you!! Thanks for making me smile, (and preserving my sanity!). I thought I was the only one who is addicted to Zaadz.. Is there a support group pod forming out there somewhere??
OMG! This is brilliant!
You are too funny (and witty) Shelly.
I can't wait for the continuation!
HA HA HEEE HEE - follow the yellow brick road……. follow, follow, follow, follow the yellow brick road – let me stop laughing and bring on the rest of the list; or did I miss it? Link me up please! Shelly you rock (you already knew that but I thought I'd tell ya anyway). See I wanted to grow up and be a zaadster too! I just didn't Know it till now.
