The Secret

I just finished watching what I believe could be one of the greatest films of our time. I say this not so much because of a riviting storyline or stellar cast, but because of the message it is sharing with the world. (the cast is also pretty fabulous as well) The potential of what can be created if everyone were using these concepts is limitless. The fact that a movie of this consciousness is in mainstream media and available to everyone in the world via their computer, speaks VOLUMES to the shift that is taking place all around us. We really are making a difference and the future looks VERY bright.
The Secret won't be a secret much longer, so I will tell you, the whole movie is about the Law of Attraction and what is possible when we focus on the good instead of the bad....what we want instead of what we don't . It's all about how our thoughts and feelings attract our reality and is backed up with facts and examples and quotes from great minds who understood the principles. On of my favorites, Esther Hicks is a main contributor as well as several from "What The Bleep". In fact I would have to say this movie trumps "What The Bleep" bigtime because they have taken difficult concepts and made them easy to understand by anyone. If you liked The Science of Getting Rich, you are going to love this movie.
Did you see it? If not, love yourself enough to watch this film. You deserve it. Our future deserves it. Enjoy it and go out and MAKE ALL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE.

Help

Hey, I've been getting emails about this thing for a bit, now! I was trying to decide whether or not to watch it…is it the $5-to-view thing that you did?
Well, I guess after a strong review like this, I gotta watch it! Maybe I'll make my girlfriend watch it with me tonight.. Thanks for bringing this up :)
I did do the pay-per-view thing. It was easy….just ran it through PayPal and we were off. I liked the movie so much I wanted to have the DVD to review regularly so when I ordered it they gave me $5 credit back towards the purchase. Best $20 I ever spent! I think this movie is so important I would have paid 10x that (but glad I didn't have to).
Let me know what you think after you watch it. I am curious if others “get it” and enjoy it as much as I did. It meant so much to me sinply because I have been studying the Law of Attraction for about three years now and know them to work perfectly when i get my thoughts right. Abundance of all sorts flows when I apply the Laws. To see a movie about it makes e giddy with what is possible in the world when enough people see it and use it. :-)
Amazing movie! I am glad that you enjoyed it, Shelly. SEEING people talk about the law of attraction seems to have had a more significant effect on me than just READING about it. PUTTING IT IN ACTION (for your benefit and the good of ALL) is the next step.
Thank you for sharing…
Much love
BTW, I ordered it, too. I don't think there will be a person who will watch it and not get the movie on DVD…It is so powerful and could make an amazing gift of a lifetime.
Dontcha just love all the movies comin out? What The Bleep and bleep II, The Secret, The One, Celestine Prophecy, The Serious Business of Happiness….we are going mainstream!
I finished watching the movie about half an hour ago.Having devoured Abe's teachings and those of other teachers (Waitley, Dooley, etc) for some time now, there wasn't exactly anything new.But of course I had stated a little while back to myself that “it would be nice to see these principles expressed on film.”And so it's not suprising that my response to this film is that “it was nice to see these principles expressed on film.”
Cheers!
Watched it last Friday! I agree that it's a powerful message, and they handled it well in the film. To be honest, though, my girlfriend and I both sorta dozed off towards the end… gotta figure out if i need to pay another $5 to finish it (oops!)
I think it's interesting that to all of us who love the movie..it's nothing new. A good reminder and a little push of momentum to ideas and principles we already knew of.
It's definitely a kick to get to see these principles explained amazingly well in a “made-for-mainstream” presentation, but… It really makes me wonder what umm… “normal” people (?) would think of it. Those not already in the self-helpy type of mindset.
Even then, though, would it be a shame if the only ones that took the movie to heart, were the ones that had already taken the concepts to heart?

Yes, you have questions now, but soon you will have no unanswered questions.

You interpreted the movie based on the vibration you were sending out.Other's would take something different from it.We're all unique, having major or subtle differences due to our intentions:
1.Those who had the vibe of: “I want to see a film that'll make me angry for not succeeding in life” would have seen those teachers smiling and telling him that 'he created his reality.' That guy probably put his foot through the PC monitor in frustration. But then again, that's a good thing if it made him feel better than depressed.
2.Those who had the vibe of: “I want to see a film that'll make me finally realise how it all works and tell me how to put it into practise” would have felt empowered by the information given and risen from their prior confusion.
3.Those like some of us here who wanted a film to show us what we already knew, but in a new format, felt good knowing that our desires had been satisfied.
And so on….
The angry person in example one, now feeling better, may decide to watch the movie again (after he's bought a new monitor, of course) and this time be more open to receive what is being shared.
The person in example 2 may think to themselves “well this is great, but I really want to study this more specifically now” and so they have contrast because the film was quite general and wasn't very big on the processes found in the 'And And It is Given' book (all 22 of them!).And so from her new desire she may well find the book.
The third example, people like us who've already done the specifics, studied the processes and gotten clear on how to put this into practise, we may now wish for something more stimulating and new.So the next thing we will encounter will be something that is completely new to us, a whole new awakening.Because of course, we never get it done ;)
Or whatever takes your fancy!

I've gone on a bit here, but I'm happy that it's clear.
Cheers!
Great points Flex and thanks for intending it into being with your desire. :-)
Yes Rob, I agree, nothing “new under the sun” but certainly a lot that I have yet to “perfect” and thus love a reminder of regularly. P.S. There is no need to rewatch the end. Your sunconscious got the info while you slept. :-)
I just think that the fact that these types of messages are making it to the mainstream is powerful in and of itself. Energetically, it doesn't matter how it is percieved. The energy is being downloaded regardless….. and eventually, that energy will resonate and blossom when the time is right.
What the movie soooo successfully achieves is evoking empowering emotions (by ideas, sight and sound). That is why I found it more compelling than any other book I've read on the Law of Attraction.
enJOY!
Here's a very good, free on-line book for you all about the Law of Attraction. Must watch that film, sounds great !
Of course - I must add the link to the book, might make reading it a little easier - http://www.psitek.net/pages/PsiTekTVContents.html
By the way, www.psitek.net has a fantastic intro to the site if you want to turn your speakers up !!
Cool site Big D. Thanks for sharing it…. made me want to dance. :-)
Where to begin about the Secret? I watched it, and loved it, and now I am putting in an inordinate amount of universal orders and I can already see them being filled. Really… earnestly… goooooooooood stuff. Ordered the DVD to share with the fam.
Awesome Brondu! Glad you enjoyed it. Share those “universal orders” so we can all give energy to them. It speeds up the creation for sure.
