Ok why am I responding to this one, and not all the great posts I’ve read below….
I dunno….but I thank you, tis way to cool I move that Valentines Day be the adopted birthday of zaadz, representing unconditional love…agape
Remember when we were kids sitting and giving all the boys and the girls ‘be mine’ valentine cards? We should bring that back as adults…just providing valentines for everyone….now I’m thinking maybe our day should be a week or two later….we can all take advantage of the sales for those little cards tomorrow and then hand them out everywhere!
I agree Wil…. Zaadz Day…. the day of agape love. Everyday is that day here for me, but on that celebratory day we’d get to get all dressed up in fun stuff, sing, dance, play, tell stories, eat together and hand out our heart felt hand made messages to those we love.
Funny that you bring up making Valentines Wil. Making the one for you all today was one of the coolest things I’ve done in a long time. I dusted off my box of art supplies that I haven used in way too long. I found glitter and paints and colored markers I didn’t even know I had. I discarded the “need to make it perfect” and played just like I did as a child. As I created, I remebered kindergarten class when all the materials were provided for us at school. All we had to do was bring our creativity caps and our hearts. Later after the cards had dryed we shared home-made cookies that our Mom’s had made and gave each of our friends our treasured pieces of art. A few years later the hand-made cards became store-bought but were fun just the same. Spending hours the night before writing special messages on each little Snoopy card, tucking the appropriately chosen candy heart saying for each one and then sealing them all with glittery, heart-shaped stickers. I can remember how important to me it was to not forget anyone in class. That would have broke someones heart. And I really remember the butterflies when giving the “I love you” candy heart away to my first boyfriend. Boy were those the days!
I highly recommend going home today, getting paper and supplies out and creating to your hearts content!
Awww… thanks Shelly. My first “Zaadzster” Valentine’s Day card! I LOVE it and glad to share it with all the other zaadzsters! But why is there a question mark at the end?
I thought the ? gave it a “Will You Be Mine?” feel to it. Sort better than bonking someone over the head with my cupid’s arrow and saying “Your MIne!” :-)
You guys are too funny! I love the Valentine’s, Shelly!!! Your creativity definitely shines through. Aren’t you glad we’re able to see your pictures? =)
Cool Shelly. Peace to you!

I kinda like that method though… very neolithic… but it would work… *bonk* them on the head! “Mine! Be or not to be - there is no option!” hehehe!! :P
LOL S and M!

Matt!!! It’s not S&M…. OOOOHH… you means “S”helly and “M”scaprikell…. Oh I see… *blushes*
*laughing*
*rolling on the floor laughing at work*
Shelly, loved the valentine! Will you be mine??
You know that is my problem….I can’t get the bonk right, they either don’t feel it, don’t appreciate it, or won’t wake up….
Or, maybe I bonked them too hard and they CAN’T wake up. Is that possible? =) Yikes!!!
Wow, you must bonk pretty hard, Nancy. I say just keep on bonking. Something’s bound to happen sooner or later.
Pitty the person walking into this conversation a bit late and wondering what kind of site they’ve logged onto. XXX (wink)
You guys are awesome! So great to laugh with you all. :-)
Shelly……..just saw this………thats so adorable!
Miss you on the boards…
