Adult Onset ADD

Posted on Feb 10th, 2006 by Shelly : Petrepreneur- Pay It Forward Pets Shelly

This is what my day is like so far. I believe I have ADD:

Wake up to dog staring at me. Pet dog. Put on mismatched clothes. Decide to clean up later. Go to kitchen and turn teapot on. Let dog out. Go to office. Turn on Zaadz. (I am addicted I can't help it) Cat jumps in lap. Pet cat. Cat looks hungry. Feed cats. Play with cats. (mental note- cats are needy creatures) Put on shoes. Go to feed horses. Throw ball for dog. Notice that I need to take out recyling before the truck arrives. Hear teapot that I left on the stove screaming. Run back into house. Turn off stove. Notice I haven't fed the dog. Open cabinet for dog food bowl. See mugs. Get a mug for tea. Notice I need more paper towels. Go to pantry for towels. Notice cat litter needs changing. Clean litter. Take out side. Throw ball for dog. Notice horses are still not fed. Begin feeding. Realize need of paring knife to cut up carrots. Head back to house. Realize tea is not made yet. Turn teapot back on to reheat. Still no paper towels. Go get them. Stumble over cat. Apologize to cat. Pet Cat. Put old paper towel core in recycling bucket. Realize I didn't take recycling out yet. (truck is coming soon) Go to take recycling to the curb. Throw ball for dog. Find I need my keys to load bins into truck (I have to drive to the curb- it's the country you know) Teapot is screaming again. Run to house to turn off stove. Notice empty dog bowl. Get food from refer. Hear recycle truck. Run to grab keys. Scare cats. Send cats running for cover. Apologize to cats while running out door. Get truck. See recycle truck next door. Frantically load bins. Meet truck just in time. Wonder if they think me a homeless person by the way I am dressed. Decide I don't care. Throw ball for dog. Go back up to house. Hear horses screaming. Throw hay. Still no knife for carrots. Go back to house for knife. Notice dog food on counter. Feed dog. See muddy paw prints all over kitchen. Sweep floor. Go for mop. Pet Cat. Play with cat. Dang needy cats. See Holistic Horse magazine that I want to read today. Take magazine to office. Have desire to check Zaadz. (what DID they put in the cyber-koolaide anyways?) Cat is asleep on lap top. Best to leave sleeping cat lie. Look for camera to take picture of cat. Notice what I am wearing in mirror. Go to bathroom to clean up. Other cat is asleep in sink basin. Still can't bring self to move sleeping cat. Take picture of cat instead. Will clean up later. Notice floor is still not mopped. Go to pantry for mop. Pet cat. Tell cat he is needy. Get mop. Realize Simple Green is empty. Go to barn for more. Throw ball for dog. Dogs are needy creatures too. Realize horses still don't have their carrots........ It's after noon and I have yet to have my tea!

And still, I wouldn't want it any other way.

I can relate to the Zaadz.com addiction.  I’m literally having to put a limit on my Zaadz time so I can get things done!
